IMPORTANT UPDATE
18/09/24 UPDATE: Unfortunately, the decision has been made to CANCEL the 2024 Primary & Intermediate NIPS events due to the ongoing challenging snow conditions preventing our ability to operate a safe event.
We remain fully committed to the return of NIPS in 2025 and we hope to be able to announce indicative dates and details before the end of October.

Returning for the first time since 2019, the North Island Primary & Intermediate Schools Ski Championships is to held during term 3 of 2024 at Whakapapa, Mt Ruapehu.
A thrilling competition open to primary and intermediate school students from across the North Island. Join us for a few days of excitement, sportsmanship, and fun on the slopes!

Event Schedule
Both the primary and intermediate schools events will have the following schedule:
Saturday - Lane training day (optional)
Sunday - Lane training day (optional)
Monday - Individual GS Race Day
Tuesday - Parallel SLalom Race Day
School Teams
School teams can consist of between 1 and 4 team members, with the fastest 3 team members contributing towards the team's total time.
Team categories will include:
- Boys
- Girls
- Mixed (at least 2 girls in team)
